Ask Me, Tell Me

Tell Us Your Story!
Help us design a new HIV prevention video for gay men called Ask Me, Tell Me by telling us your story about disclosing HIV status to sex partners and negotiating (or not) safer sex. Your story can be fact or fiction. All submissions should be ANONYMOUS — please don’t tell us your name or any other personally identifying information.

HIV Is Still A Big Deal
This HIV prevention project for gay men was started in 2004 by Public Health Solutions and New York University's Steinhardt School. Together with Kingsborough Community College, we have received a grant from the New York City AIDS Fund to create and produce a fourth HIV prevention video. Targeted to men online, the new 10-minute video, Ask Me, Tell Me, will feature brief, interconnected dramatic stories showing many ways that men can disclose their HIV status to their sex partners and negotiate safer sex. The stories, in English and Spanish, will be targeted to Black, Latino and White men. Our videos have been viewed more than 130,000 times online and the first video, The Morning After, is the only dramatic HIV prevention video online that has been evaluated and shown to reduce high risk behavior among gay men.
